We champion all aspects of hospitality interior design, branding, architectural design, business strategy, marketing and operations. Clients include Björn Frantzén (3 Michelin starred chef), Mercedes Benz, Mercedes Me, Maximal Concepts, Printworks, BEAMS, Camden Atrium Workspace, Korea Pilates Association, Viet Hoa, KM19 Moscow, Royal China Hotel and Rosewood Hotels, to name a few.
While his practice is best known for commercial design, Joseph has built a wide range of pursuits in design including interior & architectural direction and hard luxury. Joseph’s work has expanded to Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Italy, France, UK and USA. And now Bali. Joseph is a recipient of two awards in 2014 and 2018: 1) Winner for Best Restaurant in the Independent Restaurant category from the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, an annual international interior design award rewarding both designers and operators for design excellence and 2) Winner for Best Entertainment Space category from the Society of British Interior Design (SBID) International Awards 2012.
In 2012 and 2013, his practice has been awarded for World Architecture News Interior Design Awards in London UK. In 2017, he was awarded as First Prize for architectural proposals for technical innovation for one of the most historic cultural theatres, Pushkinsky Cinema, in Moscow, sponsored and awarded by DuPont. The winning proposals were selected from 512 entries submitted by 1,002 architects from 62 different countries. The exhibition of the winning designs took place in the Central House of Architects in Moscow on June 8, 2017. In 2014/15, one of Joseph’s winning concrete tile product designs have been selected to be produced globally via KAZA Tiles. Also in 2014, Joseph’s packaging work for Japan’s leading fashion brand, Yohji Yamamoto Parfums have been nominated for Best New Design & Packaging by the Fragrance Foundation. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s degree from the New York University and a MBA and Master’s degree from Columbia University, New York. Joseph is an accredited professional member of SBID and an Affiliate Member of RIBA, Royal Institute of British Architects.
